Severe weather possible for parts of central Plains

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening across parts of the central Plains. Areas at greatest risk stretch from South Dakota through eastern Nebraska, northeast Kansas, northwest Missouri and western Iowa. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the main threats.
