Heavy rainfall possible from Gulf Coast to mid-Atlantic

Heavy rainfall will spread from the Gulf Coast and lower Mississippi Valley into the Tennessee and Ohio valleys and mid-Atlantic on Tuesday. Combined with a melting snowpack, the rain could result in flooding for parts of the Tennessee Valley and Appalachians.
