Significant Storm System To Bring Heavy Snow, Strong Winds, and Severe Weather Through Midweek

A strong low pressure system will bring heavy snowfall and treacherous travel over portions of the Intermountain West and Southwest through tonight. Further south and east, critical fire weather is expected over Texas and New Mexico. By Monday and Tuesday, heavy snow will spread into the Plains with blizzard conditions possible while severe thunderstorms could impact the Gulf Coast to the Midwest.
