Severe weather possible from central Plains to Gulf Coast

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening across parts of the central & southern Plains, from extreme eastern Colorado and southwestern Nebraska southward through Kansas, western Oklahoma and Texas. There is an Enhanced Risk in parts of southern Texas where damaging wind, large hail and a tornado or two are possible.
