Showers with snow showers above 8500 feet will increase in coverage and intensity through the day. Locally heavy rain and mountain snow are likely during the afternoon.
Clearing conditions over the western half of NM tomorrow, with continued precipitation over the eastern plains. Snow will continue over the Sangre's and NE plains during the morning hours, with rain showers over the SE plains. An embedded isolated t-storm is possible over the E plains as well.
Additional snow totals for tonight through Wednesday. Potential of up a few inches of snow as far south as I-40 Wednesday morning if lows are cold enough.
A Pacific low will impact the area tonight through Wednesday. The most significant impacts from snow across north central and northeast portions of the state and mainly at or above 7,000 ft.
