Steady winds overnight with cooler temperatures across the west.
Strong surface wind and very low humidities are expected area-wide.
Thunderstorms could impact portions of northeastern New Mexico by the Sunday, expanding farther west into the Memorial Day holiday. Otherwise warm temperatures and occasionally breezy conditions are expected across northern and central New Mexico throughout the 3 day holiday weekend.
Showers and thunderstorms return just in time for the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. Rainfall will be confined to the northeast and Sangre de Cristo Mountains Saturday and Sunday, while more widespread coverage is expected Monday.
