Sunshine and warm in the west, clouds and showers in the east. Potential for strong to severe thunderstorms on the eastern plains.
Dry and breezy to windy west with little change in temperatures. Cooler central and east with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs ranging from 5 to 15 degrees below normal east to near normal far west.
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across portions of eastern New Mexico this afternoon and evening. Strong winds and large hail will be the main threats.
