Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the southwest mountains of New Mexico with more scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected along and just east of the central mountain chain of the state. A few of the storms east of the central mountain chain could become strong. Otherwise, seasonal temperatures are forecast.
Dry, hot and breezy conditions will prevail all areas Wednesday.
Dew point temperature is one of many parameters used to monitor moisture surges of the North American Monsoon System across the Southwest U.S.
