Winds will turn more to the west/northwest Wednesday then increase from the west/southwest Thursday.
Clouds will clear-out across eastern New Mexico this evening, with a cool night on tap.
Dry and warmer Wednesday with afternoon westerly breezes.
Smoke from the Andrews prescribed burn west of Grants may create hazy skies from the Rio Grande Valley westward Wednesday morning. East winds expected to develop overnight may keep the smoke west of I-25. Another smoke plume may develop Wednesday as dry, warm, and breezy conditions continue on west/northwest winds. Thursday will be the day to watch as critical fire weather conditions are likely with strong westerly winds.
