A Pacific cold front which crossed New Mexico Friday night will be followed by a backdoor cold front in eastern New Mexico today. High temperatures today will be near to slightly below normal in southwest New Mexico and the middle and lower Rio Grande Valley and well below normal across the remainder of the state.
Clear skies and calm winds will help temperatures to plummet tonight behind a cold front. The first freeze of the season is anticipated at the Albuquerque Sunport, which would be the 3rd latest first freeze on record!
Cold conditions will prevail today and tonight, with warming Sunday into Monday.
Yesterday's Highs and Low Temperatures past 24 Hours for Central and Northern New Mexico.
