Precipitation chances will increase during the overnight hours across the northwest and southwest mountains. Winds will remain strong over mountain tops overnight. Gusts near 60 mph will be possible across the Sangre de Cristo and Chuska Mountains.
Northwest New Mexico will have the best chances for snow starting tonight and continuing through Tuesday. The high elevations of the Tusas Mountains should do quite well with more than 1 foot of snow likely.
Widespread strong to damaging are forecast to develop Monday. Gusts over 60 mph will be possible over the higher terrain and areas adjacent to the mountains.
