Dry and seasonable today with less wind than Tuesday everywhere. It will be breezy in the far west though.
Precipitation will begin to develop over western areas Thursday night, then spread farther east on Friday, before focusing on the east Sunday.
The potential exists for flash flooding to develop across parts of the eastern plains this weekend, where over 4 inches of rainfall will be possible.
Dew point temperature is one of many parameters used to monitor moisture surges of the North American Monsoon across the Southwestern U.S.
