An upper level trough and cold front will approach the area from the northwest tonight. Winds will remain rather strong and gusty over the mountain tops and their east slopes. A few rain and snow showers possible over the San Juan Mountains. Comfortable low temperatures for this time of year.
Northwest winds will usher in colder air Saturday. The strongest winds will occur from Farmington to Albuquerque and Clines Corners where gusts near 30-45 mph are expected.
