Mostly clear conditions with light winds will prevail tonight. Lows will be warmer than last night's as a warming trend continues into Friday.
Temperatures Friday will be 15 to 25 degrees above normal over northeastern NM. Highs will be near records between Tucumcari and Clayton.
A winter storm system will approach from the west Saturday and force a potent cold front through NM Saturday night. Rain and mountain snow will change to snow in all areas as sharply colder air moves in behind the front. Snow may continue over northeastern NM Sunday.
