The threat for fire weather will return to start next week. A Fire Weather Watch has already been issued for western parts of the Texas Panhandle. Please use caution when dealing with anything that could potentially start a spark or fire.
Overnight lows will be in the 20s and 30s across the Panhandles.
A High Wind Watch is in effect for Tuesday for 11 AM - 7 PM CST for the southern Texas Panhandle. Southwest winds of 40 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected. A Fire Weather Watch is also in effect for 11 AM - 7 PM CST Tuesday for all of the Panhandles.
