Snow, Wintry Precipitation Moves In This Morning-Travel Impacts For Some

Light snow, and possibly some freezing drizzle, will lead to slippery travel conditions at times this evening. Plan ahead for winter driving conditions.  Expect roads to be partly to completely snow covered.

Tonight: Snow/Freezing Drizzle

  • What: Snow - with an additional inch of accumulation along and north of Interstate 90. Total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Freezing drizzle may produce light icing across portions of northeast Iowa and southern Wisconsin.
  • Where: Snow - near and north of Interstate 90. Freezing drizzle and light icing possible across northeast Iowa and southern Wisconsin.
  • Timing: Snow through the mid-evening hours then tapering off. Freezing drizzle and light icing chances this evening.
  • Hazards: Slippery, snow/ice covered roads and sidewalks. Lower visibilities. 
  • Actions: Know the forecast. Plan ahead for slippery travel.
