Numerous trees were snapped off and the debris damaged several automobiles. Two trailers were overturned. Several trees were blown down along the damage path.

The tornado moved east northeast across Sumter County. A church, store, and several other buildings were damaged. Timber damage was extensive.

A tornado touched down in rural Chilton County and moved southwest to northeast. Several small buildings were un-roofed and numerous trees were blown down along the damage path.

A tornado touched down in rural Hale County 8 miles southeast of Akron. The tornado moved northeast. Timber damage was extensive. Several farm buildings were destroyed and several homes were damaged along the path.

The tornado touched down west of Marion and moved northeast. Three houses, a store and a hatchery were demolished and several other houses were damaged along the path.

A tornado touched down 2 miles southwest of city hall and moved northeast. Most of the damage was on the college campus where several buildings were severely damaged and numerous automobiles overturned.

A tornado struck the eastern outskirts of Brewton. The tornado devastated a 2 block area. Seven homes were demolished and 12 more were heavily damaged. The tornado moved southwest to northeast.

A waterspout moved inland near Alabama Port. Two homes and a store were damaged. The tornado briefly moved northwest.

Brief tornado touched down and un-roofed two homes. Several other farm buildings and homes were also damaged along the brief path.

A tornado touched down briefly and demolished 1 house and injured 2 persons at Center Ridge. The tornado then moved northeast where it damaged 3 other houses.

A tornado struck in extreme northern Coffee County, moved east northeast across southeast Pike County, then across Barbour County to Eufaula. Scattered damage was sustained to trees, rural buildings and utility poles.

The tornado touched down in the southern part of Phenix City. Two houses, a store, a barn and a brick plant were destroyed. At least a dozen other homes sustained damage. Numerous trees were blown down along the path.

A tornado touched down on the northern outskirts of Atmore and then moved east northeast. One home was unroofed and several other buildings and homes were damaged. Numerous trees were broken off.

A tornado unroofed 1 house and demolished a garage. Other scattered damaged to roofs and powerlines was reported.

The tornado moved east northeast. At least 25 homes were destroyed and 50 other buildings or homes were damaged. The most significant damaged occurred at Eddy and Union Grove.

The tornado touched down and moved east northeast. Several homes were demolished and over 50 houses and buildings were damaged near Kansas. More structures were damaged or destroyed at Bluff.

The tornado touched down and moved east northeast across Russell County. The tornado path was through a rural area. Several homes were demolished or damaged and many trees were blown down or broken off.

The tornado touched down on the eastern side of town. Several warehouses were damaged on Northington Campus, then moved NE across residential area to Parlow State School grounds. Several homes were damaged and many trees were blown down or broken off.

Six homes and several outbuildings were damaged or destroyed. Several trees and powerlines were blown down in this rural area. Two persons injured when a house was demolished.
