NWS Staff handing out candy and NWS information at Boo at the Zoo, Brownsville, TX

NWS Brownsville a Popular Spot on October 30th

Update:
Join the thousands of ghosts, goblins, witches, Spider Men, and pirates who enjoyed plenty of candy, but learned a little about how the National Weather Service in Brownsville serves the Lower Rio Grande Valley in the process, on Thursday night, October 30th. The weather looks splendid, not spooky, again this Halloween night!

We'll have plenty of information for kids of all ages, and a lot more candy, too! We even do temporary tattoos. And, who knows; we've been known to spin a few haunting weather tales. You'll find us once again near the Small World Petting Zoo (map below), at Station 31. Just look for the blue National Weather Service tablecloth, and a host of friendly staff, and have some fun with us!
