Warm and sultry night across the region tonight. Temperatures will only drop into the upper 70s and lower 80s and be accompanied by humid conditions. Partly to mostly cloudy skies expected with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible along the coast and over the coastal waters.
Normal temperatures return to deep south Texas and the Rio Grande Valley this weekend into next week with low temperatures in the mid 70s and highs in the low to mid 90s. There is a chance of rain beginning Saturday and continuing into Wednesday. The best chance of showers and thunderstorms is Sunday through Tuesday due to increased moisture along an inverted trough of low pressure and an approaching frontal boundary.
