Storms Continue to Pound the Western U.S.

Storms will continue to bring heavy rain, flooding and strong winds to California and many states across the west. Heavy rain will result in flooding for some areas, and heavy snow will be possible at high elevation locations. By mid-week, these storms may bring heavy snow to the northern Rockies and Intermountain west. Heavy rain and flooding will also impact the central Gulf Coast this week. Read More >

Tonight will be a great night for outdoor activities across Deep South Texas with continued clear skies, low humidity values and overnight low temperatures in the lower to middle 50s. The island will trend slightly warmer with the overnight lows in the lower 60s. For the mariners, expect light north to northeast winds with the bay subsiding from a light chop to smooth waters and seas of one to four feet on the coastal waters.
Dry conditions rule through the weekend in the Rio Grande Valley and Deep South Texas with temperatures rising into the upper 80s and well into the 90s for some areas by Thursday. A weak dry cold front expected on Friday, bringing temperatures back towards the upper 70s and 80s for the weekend.
