A pleasant night will prevail across Deep South Texas with clear skies and overnight temperatures falling into the middle 50s to lower 60s. Mariners can expected light to moderate north winds along the Lower Texas coastal waters with a light chop on the Laguna Madre and Gulf seas of 4 to 6 feet this evening subsiding to 2 to 4 feet after midnight.
Temperatures will quickly rebound this week with highs in some locations exceeding 100°F. Skies will remain mostly sunny throughout the week with abundant dry air expected to move in, also keeping precipitation chances very low. Winds will be breezy as a couple storm systems develop across the Central Plains mid-week and at the end of the week.
