Residents of the Rio Grande Valley can expect a Cloudy, Rainy and cool night with lows dropping into the mid to upper 40s inland, near 50 at the coastline. Small Craft Advisories will remain in effect for the lower Texas Gulf waters until Midnight tonight.
Surface high pressure across the western half of the United States will continue to bring colder air across south Texas tonight into Saturday. Expect cold and rainy weather to continue on Saturday as a coastal trough develops along the lower Texas coast. Sunday will see warmer temperatures with clearing skies. A second cold front will move across the region on Monday with a slight chance of showers across deep south Texas. Drier conditions will prevail Tuesday into Wednesday as surface high pressure builds across the south-central United States Tuesday and moves eastward Wednesday.
