Hydrology/River Stages...

Modoc rose rapidly to above flood stage in the early morning hours of
March 17th due to locally heavy rain.

In response to runoff from heavy rain across Upstate SC and W NC,
Carolina Eastman rose to moderate flood stage and peaked on the 28th,
Columbia peaked just below flood stage on the 28th, and Gadsden peaked
just below moderate flood stage on the 29th.

Chappells peaked just above flood stage on the 29th partly due to
releases from Lake Greenwood. Lake Wateree rose above flood stage late
in the month mainly due to precipitation and releases upstream.
