Historic Flooding Ongoing...Dangerous Conditions and Additional Rainfall Possible through Tonight

A powerful low pressure system will continue to affect the area through tonight. Life-threatening flooding developed across portions of Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties Saturday night and will likely persist into today. The heaviest rain has lifted north of the area but additional heavy rainfall is possible through tonight. Unnecessary travel is discouraged.
