Elko Gets the Word Out!
Elko, Nevada's NWS forecast team has just launched a 3-month
campaign which advertises their web site on all buses in
a heavily-traveled area of the city. The forecast office
has seen an increase in the number of unique hits to its
website as a result of the pilot project. Shown (left to
right) on day one is Kevin Barker, Meteorologist-In-Charge;
Suzan Packham, Administrative Support Assistant; and Vickie
Nadolski, Director, NWS Western Region.
