NWS Participates in Einstein Science Expo

NWS Green Bay Warning Coordination Meteorologist Jeff Last and his wife, Pulaski High School science teacher Jill Last, staffed a booth at the fourth annual Einstein Science Expo in Green Bay, WI, on January 13. Over 3,000 people attended the day-long event, where kids become scientists for a day. The NWS Green Bay booth theme was "how we measure the weather."

Caribbean EMWIN Training Workshop Held in Miami

Nine representatives from the meteorological services and emergency management organizations of five Caribbean countries participated in the workshop, which was organized in support of the White House Third Border Initiative.

NWS Participates in San Antonio Boat Show

NOAA/NWS Officials Join Florida Governor for Hazardous Weather Awareness Event

Officials from NOAA Headquarters and NWS joined Florida Governor Charlie Crist at a Hazardous Weather Awareness Week event at the Bay Vista Elementary School in St. Petersburg on February 14.
