Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of Corporate Board committees.
- Final approval authority for all committee decisions.
- Resolve any issue not resolved within the working committees.

| Operations/Execution Committee (OEC) |

DAA (Chair), OPS and OCWWS
Co-Chairs, CIO, WR, AR, PR, CR, ER, SR, NCEP.
Staff Support: OCWWS.
Meets weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and assesses current operations, product lines and services, with a focus on short term.
- Makes decisions on improvements and modification to existing operational procedures and policies, revisions and expansion of products and services.
- Monitor progress through the fiscal year on NWS Annual Operating Plans.
- Reviews monthly quad charts.
- Conducts frank and open discussions to improve our mission performance (principles only will attend, or designated alternative).

| Program Planning/Execution Committee (PPEC) |

SPP (Chair), OST, OHD, CFO, NCEP, OCWWS, CIO, SP, AR, WR.
Staff Support: Hirschberg/Valdez.
Meets as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Further develop an environment for dialog between NWS, Goal Team Leads, and Program Managers.
- Develop and monitor agreements with each NWS related NOAA Program Manager to assure program is executable and all deliverables are clear. Key agreements/linkages: RDs and LFW, OST and STI, NCEP and EMP.
- Provide Line Office input to Goal Teams (Weather & Water, Climate, Commerce & Transportation) Portfolio Analysis.
- Forum for further integration between LO and PPBES.
- Coordinates NWS priorities with program managers and Goal Team Leads.
- Develop an integrated NWS Annual Operating Plan, in coordination with the program managers and Goal Team Leads.
- Provides guidance to, and discuss with, program managers as they develop their respective Program Operations Plans.
- Provides guidance to, and discuss with, Goal Team Leads as they develop their respective Portfolio analysis.
- Evaluates science and technology trends; makes decisions on science priorities, technology infusion, research and development initiatives, as well as transition of research to operations.

Responsibilities:
- Reviews financial (including budget) status and projected financial initiatives.
- Makes decision on initiatives and methods to improve management of financial resources.
- Work with the Programming/Planning committee regarding; budget issues in PPBES, the development of Program Operation Plans as well as Portfolio analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Reviews and assesses current issues and makes decisions to improve NWS Human Capital practices and procedures.

- Enable Broadening of environmental service delivery and communication of probabilistic information.
- Focus of NOAA science and technology activities.
- Coordinate internal NWS teams focused on these topics.
