The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...
  Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 1215 PM MST.

* At 1121 AM MST, a pockets of blowing dust was noted along a line 
  extending from near Fraziers Well and Peach Springs moving south 
  and east at 15 mph. This will impact portions of I-40 between mile 
  markers 94 and 144 and route 66 between mile markers 110 and 139.

  HAZARD...Less than two miles visibility with strong wind of up to 
           40 mph.

  SOURCE...Satellite imagery and Arizona Department of 
           Transportation web cameras.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.


This includes the following highways... Business Interstate 40 
between mile markers 140 and 141.
 Route 66 between mile markers 110 and 139.
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 94 and 144.

Locations impacted include...
Seligman, Rose Well and Cross Mountain. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
