STATES EARLY THIS MORNING MOVES NORTH INTO QUEBEC ON TUESDAY...A 
30.3 HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL LINGER OVER THE PLAINS. THIS RIDGE 
WILL WEAKEN TO 30.1 INCHES ON TUESDAY...ALLOWING A LOW PRESSURE 
TROUGH AVERAGING 29.9 INCHES TO DEVELOP OVER THE UPPER LAKES. BOTH 
THE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE AND LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL REMAIN NEARLY 
STATIONARY AT THE SAME INTENSITY THROUGH THURSDAY. EXPECT THE TROUGH 
OVER THE UPPER LAKES TO WEAKEN ON FRIDAY AS A 30.1 INCH HIGH 
PRESSURE CENTER BUILDS INTO THE AREA.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.5 INCHES OVER THE FAR EASTERN
GREAT LAKES WILL MOVE TO THE MOUTH OF THE ST LAWRENCE RIVER BY
LATE TONIGHT AND DEEPEN TO 29.4 INCHES AS IT DOES. HIGH PRESSURE OF
30.2 INCHES OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS TODAY WILL SLOWLY MOVE EAST
AND WEAKEN INTO TUESDAY. LOW PRESSURE AT 29.8 INCHES WILL DEVELOP
ACROSS EASTERN ONTARIO ON TUESDAY AND VERY SLOWLY MOVE NORTHEAST
INTO THURSDAY. THIS WILL MOVE A WEAK COLD FRONT SOUTHWARD ACROSS
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE LAKE ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT.
OTHERWISE...THE PRESSURE PATTERN ACROSS THE LAKE DURING THE MIDDLE

LOW OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES WILL LIFT NORTH ON 
TUESDAY...LEAVING THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES WITHIN PERSISTENT WEAK 
TROUGHING THROUGH THURSDAY.

THIS MORNING WILL PULL A COLD FRONT SOUTH ACROSS LAKE ERIE AS IT
MOVES EAST. A RIDGE OF 30.00 INCHES EXTENDING FROM HIGH PRESSURE
OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST WILL EXPAND OVER THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES
TODAY...THEN WEAKEN TONIGHT AS A WEAK TROUGH OF 29.90 INCHES MOVES
SOUTH INTO THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES AGAIN. THIS TROUGH WILL LINGER
OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO AND THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES THROUGH MID
WEEK.

NEW YORK STATE TODAY BEFORE LIFTING NORTHEAST THROUGH NEW ENGLAND
TONIGHT AND TO THE GULF OF SAINT LAWRENCE BY TUESDAY MORNING. A
WEAK 29.8 INCH LOW WILL THEN SPIN ACROSS NORTHERN ONTARIO AND
QUEBEC WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BEFORE MOVING NORTH TO THE UNGAVA
PENINSULA OF FAR NORTHERN QUEBEC BY FRIDAY.
