Overview

A fast moving low pressure system, also known as an Alberta Clipper, moved across the Great Lakes area Monday evening into Tuesday morning bringing a quick few inches of snowfall accumulations. A few bands of heavier snow brought snowfall totals up to just over 4 inches in southern Wayne and Monroe Counties. Areas to the north received anywhere from 2 to 3 inches with the Thumb and Tri-Cities areas receiving around an inch.
