*Where: 9040 N. Harrison Street, Davenport (minutes from I-80/Highway 61 Interchange)

*Parking Information: Please see the map below. We ask that you please NOT park in the parking lot of the old NWS facility. Parking is completely free!

Things to Do

See our brand new facility with office tours every 20 minutes between 2 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. (Limited space - First come, first served.)
Visit several weather displays
Enjoy a brief presentation about what we do here at the NWS
See the new NWS "Operations Area"
Get a glimpse of the capabilities of the brand new GOES-16 satellite data
Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the weather!
Learn about the Upper Air Program with a weather balloon release at 6 p.m. SHARP

Directions

From the North: Take Highway 61 south to Exit 124/Davenport Airport/F55. At the end of the exit, turn right and head west on 90th Street to the entrance of the Davenport Municipal Airport.

From the South: Take Highway 61 north to Exit 124/Davenport Airport/F55. Stay in the left lane to exit at Airport/Mt Joy. Head west on 90th Street to the entrance of the Davenport Municipal Airport.

From the East: On I-80 west, take Exit 295B/Highway 61 North/Eldridge/Dewitt. Briefly take Highway 61 north to Exit 124/Davenport Airport/F55. Stay in the left lane to exit at Airport/Mt Joy. Head west on 90th Street to the entrance of the Davenport Municipal Airport.

From the West: On I-80 east, take Exit 295B/Highway 61 North/Eldridge/Dewitt. Briefly take Highway 61 north to Exit 124/Davenport Airport/F55. Stay in the left lane to exit at Airport/Mt Joy. Head west on 90th Street to the entrance of the Davenport Municipal Airport.
