NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PROVIDES NEW
RIVER FORECAST SERVICES IN NORTH GEORGIA

The National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office (WFO) and the Southeast River Forecast Center (SERFC) in Peachtree City, GA, will provide new hydrologic services on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, for the Flint River near Griffin, for the Coosawattee River near Redbud, and for the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta at South Cobb Drive.

In addition, data for these points are provided by our partner, the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Without this critical data, forecasts and warnings would not be provided at these points.
