2017 Red River & Devils Lake Basin Outlook - March 22nd Update!

The National Weather Service has issued an update to the 2017 Spring Flood Flood Outlook. Snowmelt runoff will kick in again soon and should generate moderate to major flooding across the far north end of Red River Valley by early April... and could cause Devils Lake to rise 3 to 4 feet by late May or early June. Clouds will decrease this evening and bring more sunshine to the area on Saturday. The increased sunshine will help afternoon temperatures tomorrow climb well into the 40s for all areas, except for around Towner County that still have a deeper snowpack. Areas along and south of 94 may even break the 50 mark!
