New National Digital Forecast Database (NDFD) Reference

                This reference describes the communication identifiers for NDFD products. 
                It also provides the directory and file names for these products. It is 
                intended to give more current information than that available from 
                www.nws.noaa.gov/datamgmt/doc/ndfdindex.html.   For more general and 
                technical information on the NDFD, please go to www.weather.gov/ndfd.
NDFD Products Spreadsheet - A cross reference of planned, experimental,
and operational NDFD (National Digital Forecast Database) products.
 
NDFD Grib2 Decoder - A decoder that provides access to NDFD (National Digital
Forecast Database) products in several output formats.
 
NDFD Grib2 Encoding - A reference describing details of how NDFD (National
Digital Forecast Database) products are encoded.
 
NDFD WMO Heading Reference - A breakdown of the WMO headings assigned to
NDFD products.
 
NDFD Super Headings - A list of super headings for planned NDFD
products. Super Headings are used to aggregate products for the same
parameter (element) and sector. These aggregate products contain individual
products for all forecast periods.
 
NDFD Super Headings and File Names Cross Reference - A cross
reference of super headings to file names on the NWS FTP servers.
