A dry cold front will move through the area this evening. Temperatures will fall quickly will breezy north winds continuing into Tuesday.
A powerful jet stream will allow Canadian air to spill south, reaching Texas late in the week. Friday and Saturday will be the coolest days so far this season with chilly north winds. Morning low temperatures this weekend will be in the 30s and 40s. When the winds subside Saturday night, frost may develop.
There is a good chance for temperatures to be below-normal at the end of October and for the start of November. This could potentially mean a cooler than normal Halloween with temperatures in the 60s possible.
