After a prolonged dry period, the next system will arrive by the middle of next week. At this time, it appears late Tuesday through Wednesday night is the main time window, as an upper level trough moves out of the Rockies. Meanwhile, a surface dry-line may push close enough to areas west of I-35/35W for isolated storms by late Tuesday. A cold front is expected to move into, then through the area Wednesday and Wednesday night, as the upper level trough continues it's trek eastward. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase on Wednesday. A lot of uncertainty exists this far out in time with regard to any potential for severe weather or flooding. Continue to monitor future forecasts, as details regarding timing and impacts becomes more clear.
