Highs will range from the mid 60s to low 70s with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Thanksgiving Day will be sunny with highs in the mid 60s to low 70s. Winds will be west to northwest around 5 mph.
Here is the latest drought monitor, released on 11/17/17 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Note that this map is valid for the areas serviced by the National Weather Service in Fort Worth. Little to no measurable rain is forecast over the next week for our area.
The fall season (September-November) has been dry throughout much of North and Central Texas. Without additional precipitation before the end of November, Waco's autumn tally of 2.95" will rank among the top 10 driest on record. At DFW Airport, only 3.40" of rain has fallen since the beginning of September, more than 6 inches below the normal value for the entire fall season.
