It will be mostly sunny and unseasonably warm this afternoon with isolated showers possible east of a Gainesville to Dallas to Centerville line. Highs in the 90s with south winds 10 to 20 mph.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase through the middle of the week, but the heaviest rain is expected to remain across West Texas. North and Central Texas will experience periodic showers and storms from Tuesday through Thursday.
Temperatures will begin to feel more like fall next week as a cold front moves into North and Central Texas. Along with the rain, temperatures will cool substantially with highs in the 70s and low 80s by Friday.
