A significant storm system will continue impacting the area through Saturday morning. As the storm moves through the snow level, which will be initially high, will lower to between 7000 and 8000 feet with the greatest snow accumulations above 8500 feet. Roughly 8 to 12 inches of snow is expected in most mountain areas with locally higher amounts up to 16 to 18 inches possible. The greatest accumulations should occur in the eastern Uinta mountains where 12 to 16 inches of snow is expected.
