Dry and mild weather will persist today through Wednesday as high pressure builds over the Great Basin. The next chance for mountain snow will arrive Thursday morning into Thursday night as a cold front drops south into Colorado. Models seem to keep trending this system east of the Continental Divide so for right now only the northern and central Colorado mountains are favored for any light snow showers. Still, a nice shot of cold air will accompany this system which will bring temperatures back down to below seasonal norms through much of the coming weekend.
