A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from noon until 9pm today for the burn scar area of the 416 fire in La Plata County. Locations downhill and downstream from burned areas are very susceptible to flash flooding and debris flows.
Smoky conditions will continue with several wildfires burning over western Colorado and northeast Utah. Moisture will be on the increase and this will lead to better afternoon shower and thunderstorm coverage through the weekend.
