Heat Will Continue in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast

A very hot and humid airmass will persist over portions of the mid-Atlantic and southeast. Afternoon high temperatures in these areas are forecast to reach 95 to 100 degrees with heat index values ranging from 100 to 110 degrees.
