PERIODS OF SNOW WILL BEGIN MONDAY NIGHT OVER THE NORTH CAROLINA
MOUNTAINS. SNOWFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TUESDAY AND
CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF. STORM
TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 4 TO 6 INCHES IS EXPECTED ALONG THE NORTH
CAROLINA MOUNTAIN COUNTIES BORDERING TENNESSEE...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS.
