Rain chances will increase by the end of the work week as Gulf moisture returns to the region. Isolated to scattered showers are expected to develop across the coastal waters Thursday, spreading inland as scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Some of these showers and thunderstorms may be capable of brief heavy rain on Friday.
