Description: Assist USAID and the government of India with improving forecasting for tropical cyclones, severe weather, extreme temperatures, floods and flash floods and with improving forecast communications. Training completed at NOAA for Indian scientists and engineers in all areas of the program; workshops on HWRF cyclone model scheduled for January 2007 in New Delhi; training will continue through August 2008.
