Tropical Weather Moving Closer to Texas and Floridas

Harvey has regenerated into a Tropical Depression as of 11 am EDT today. Hurricane, Tropical Storm and Storm Surge Watches have been issued for portions of the Texas coast. Harvey is expected to begin impacting the Texas coast on Friday, bringing heavy rainfall resulting in potentially life-threatening flooding, storm surge, winds and surf. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN WILMINGTON OH IS SENDING A STORM
SURVEY TEAM TO ADAMS COUNTY OHIO. THE SURVEY IS IN RELATION TO
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH THE AREA ON MAY 14
2014.

A FINAL ASSESSMENT INCLUDING RESULTS OF THE SURVEY ARE EXPECTED TO
BE COMPLETED AND TRANSMITTED VIA A PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT BY
5 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

IN GREENE COUNTY OHIO...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN WILMINGTON OH WILL CONDUCT A
STORM SURVEY TODAY FOR THE AREA FROM NORTHEAST WARREN COUNTY INTO
CLARK COUNTY. THE SURVEY TEAM WILL REACH THE AREA BETWEEN 8:30 AM
AND 9:30 AM THIS MORNING. THE SURVEY IS IN RELATION TO THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH THE AREA ON MAY 14 2014.
