Overview

Lines of severe thunderstorms produced widespread wind damage across nearly all of central and southeast Illinois during the late afternoon and early evening of July 13, 2016.

The fast moving storms produced wind damage to numerous trees, power lines, power poles, crops and buildings - and also produced large hail and heavy rain in a few places - between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm CDT.
