Heat Will Continue in the Southeast and Portions of the West

A very hot and humid airmass will persist over portions of the southeast. Afternoon high temperatures in these areas are forecast to reach 95 to 100 degrees with heat index values ranging from 100 to 110 degrees. Hot temperatures are also expected over portions of the west. In the Plains and the mid-Atlantic to the Appalachians, strong thunderstorms are possible with gusty winds. Read More >
