Localized flash flooding from heavy rains will be possible this afternoon over southeast Mississippi as a strong cold front moves into the region, triggering numerous showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall totals of 2-3 inches are possible, with locally higher amounts not out of the question.
For Today there will be periods of showers and thunderstorms with highs in the middle to upper 70s. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible.
Showers and thunderstorms will decrease from the west with locally heavy rain possible through the night. Lows will be from the middle 50s to around 60.
