A limited threat for flash flooding will exist today over much of the area today through tonight as periods of heavy rain continue. The heaviest rainfall should occur mainly this afternoon and evening. Additional rainfall totals of one to two inches on average are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
Some severe storms will be possible across the northwest delta on Wednesday night as a cold front pushes through the region. Gusty winds to 60 mph, hail and locally heavy rainfall will be possible.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible today with highs from the upper 50s to the middle 60s.
Rain chances will continue tonight while locally heavy rainfall will remain possible. Overnight lows will be cooler with readings from the upper 40s northwest to the middle 50s southeast.
