Thunderstorms capable of producing 2 to 4 inches of rainfall over short periods of time will be possible across the area through tonight; especially for locations south of Interstate 20. This heavy rain is expected to cause flooding of streets and low lying areas. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the southern half of the area.
Widespread showers & storms are expected across the ArkLaMiss today. Heavy rain could result in localized flash flooding across areas mainly along & south of the Interstate 20 corridor.
Showers & thunderstorms continue across the area tonight as a cold front & upper level disturbance shift east through the region. Localized flash flooding will remain possible across areas along and south of the Interstate 20 corridor through late tonight.
Chances for showers & storms will be best across the eastern half of the area as a front lingers across that area. Small rain chances will linger in the west behind the front, as an upper trough swings east through the region.
