Flash flooding and river flooding is expected across portions of the ArkLaMiss Delta region into Thursday morning. Rain totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area, with 3-5 inches over the northwest ArkLaMiss Delta, with locally higher amounts. A flash flood watch is in effect for the elevated threat area today into Thursday.
Severe storms will be possible from the late afternoon hours Saturday through early Sunday morning. The main concern will be for damaging wind gusts, but a few tornadoes are possible. Stay tuned for future updates to the forecast.
