Significant severe weather will be possible late tonight over southeast Arkansas and northeast Louisiana with the potential for large hail and a strong tornado. The severe threat will be less as you go east.
Storms Wednesday night will weaken as we go into Thursday morning, then another round of severe storms is expected to develop later in the day with the potential for significant severe weather including hail larger than golfballs and strong tornadoes in the moderate risk area. Storms will move out of the area during the evening.
Severe storms look possible across western portions of the region late Sunday into Monday. Damaging wind gusts, hail to the size of quarters, and a few tornadoes are all possible. Please continue to monitor later outlooks for updates, as both the threat level and area could be increased.
It will be mostly sunny and warm through the day. Clouds will begin to increase over the western portion of the area late.
Thunderstorms will increase from west to east across the region overnight. Some storms across the western half of the ArkLaMiss could be severe overnight.
Chances for severe storms will exist across the entire region Thursday. Severe storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, hail up to the size of golfballs, and a few tornadoes.
