Increasing heat stress is possible this weekend. Increasing temperatures will combine with opressive dewpoints to result in heat index values between 103-108 in the afternoon hours of Saturday and Sunday. The warmest values will occur in the western portions of the ArkLaMiss.
Warm & humid conditions, especially in the ArkLaMiss Delta, are expected today. Better chances of thunderstorms will exist in the south. Expect high temperatures in the lo to mid 90s.
Isolated showers and storms are possible around mostly western portions of the region this evening. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy with lows in the muggy low to mid 70's.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms under partly cloudy skies will be the rule Sunday. Highs will max out in the mid 90s.
The eclipse outlook for Monday the 21st shows seasonal temperatures and slight chances for showers and storms. Skies will be partly cloudy.
